52 Million-to-One Odds Beaten
My sister-in-law, for whom we’d all been praying, had pulled out of her coma.
And most amazing, she came out of it without any physical complications. Needless to say, she was absolutely delighted to see her five-day-old baby awaiting her!
As we laughed and cried together on the phone, he related the medical fact that both mother and baby making it through unscathed was literally a million-to-one odds. Not surprisingly, it was the main topic of conversation amongst every doctor, nurse and patient and visitor to the hospital.
Before hanging up the phone, my father-in-law thanked me again for praying.
I responded that it had probably done me as much good as it had her.
My father-in-law concurred with my statement, ending with, “We here feel like new creatures too, having spent the last 2 days on our knees. We will never be the same again. Lord, help me to never forget His love for me, in giving me back my daughter and grandson.”
